The second barrel is deeply toasted before a light charring, creating the unique flavors of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked - a smooth, full-bodied bourbon with a long, rich finish. Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon has a nose with rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan, and toasted oak. It has a taste with a full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit, and spices. It has a long and creamy finish with lingering hints of honeyed apple.
